In Africa there were a lot of people who lived without electricity. In some regions it was totally dark at night so the children there couldn?t do anything. There was one scientist in Europe who heard about that, He began working on a project to provide cheap lightbulbs that are powered by solar energy. He worked very hard and raised a huge fund. Several years later he brought the lights to those regions in Africa. Children now can have light at night. They can read, they can study, or gather with their friends. The solar light has greatly changed the life of the people there.
