James Webb space telescope - Learning English Spoken
The James Webb space telescope will replace the Hubble space telescope to be the principal observatory of the next decade, serving thousands of astronomers all around the world. It will allow us to look deeper into the past, study every phase in the history of our Universe, ranging from the first light after the Big Bang, to the formation of solar systems capable of supporting life on planets like Earth, to the evolution of our own Solar System. It is the result of ceaseless works of scientists and engineers across the globe. The telescope will be launched in France, in October 2018.
