The soup - Spoken English Precties
A child was waiting to have lunch. His mom had cooked a nice-looking soup. Her son helped her to serve it and they had lunch. But the child did not like the soup at all. He said it was very bad. His mother did not have time to cook anything else, but she said to him that for dinner he would eat a better soup.
When his son came back home and had dinner, he said that the soup was very good indeed. And she let him know that it was the same soup that they had for lunch, with the only difference that now he was hungry after having been studying during the afternoon.
